Training Plans
Our training plans are designed to increase your dog's capacity for making better decisions, your skills as a handler, and ultimately, confidence and joy at both ends of the leash.
I take a balanced and holistic approach, centred on addressing behaviours through improving your relationship and communication with your dog. Together, we'll look at the whole of your dog and your lifestyle together to implement training that actually helps in your daily life and sticks long-term.
A variety of training plans allow us to find the best fit for you and your dog. All training plans are tailored to your dog's individual needs, and may include:

Tools and gear (e.g. slip leashes and e-collars) are not included but can be ordered on your behalf and added to your invoice.
INITIAL CONSULTATION
training starts here | 1 hour | virtual
All training plans start with a consultation to meet you where you're at. The aim is to get a fuller picture of life with your dog, unpack the struggles you're having, and talk about training goals. We'll touch on some concepts to help you understand your dog's behaviours and, most importantly, we'll discuss a custom training plan and best route forward, i.e. private sessions, day trains, or a board & train.

PRIVATE SESSIONS
flexible training | 1 hour | in-person
Best for troubleshooting mild training challenges or learning specific skills like loose leash walking or off-leash reliability. After each session, you'll get a summary write-up of what was covered and daily training exercises to integrate at home.
Private training sessions are available in packages:

DAY TRAINS
focused training | 4.5 hrs | in-person
Your dog spends four hours with me, one-on-one, for focused training in real-world scenarios (with video updates), followed by a 30-minute handover session so you're set up to continue the work at home. You'll also get a summary write-up of the session and support between sessions.
Day trains are available in the following packages:

BOARD & TRAIN
intensive training | 2-4 weeks | trainer's home
Your dog is fully immersed into my home for a minimum of two weeks to give them their best chance to fully reset, break patterns of behaviour, and learn better ones. You'll receive daily videos and progress updates. A two-hour handover session at the end of your dog's stay will ensure you're fully prepared to transfer their new skills back home. You'll also get continuous lifetime support and three in-person follow-up sessions if needed.
